This program encourages students to use their problem-solving skills and creativity as they become familiar with the principles of both engineering and programming.
Play to learn approach to establish coding concepts
Scratch Programming for different stories or games with Micro:bit board
Designed for kids without any computer knowledge but have developed motor skills ready to type with a computer keyboard.
Unit 1: Scratch Programming For Beginner
Students will use Scratch, a block-based programming tool developed by MIT to learn basic computer programming concepts such as loops, and if-then-else, functions by building different animations, stories, and games.
Unit 2: Scratch 3.0 meets Micro:bit
Students will build more advanced games and animations, and work on Scratch projects that interact with micro:bit's built in sensors.
Scratch 3.0 Programming Platform developed by MIT.
Blueinno Arduino Kit Set.
Bring your own computer laptop with charger and pre-installed Google Chrome.
Students have to practice typing before class.

All scratch project codes will be stored on the internet.

Students will be invited to Project Presentation Day to present their final projects.
Suitable for beginner coders, age 8 or above.
