App Architects with App Inventor
Become an app architect!
Create apps to solve real life challenges with MIT App Inventor! Ask big questions and come up with ideas that will shape the world. Work together to brainstorm and build practical apps and mobile games that generate impacts.
MEDIUM OF INSTRUCTION
Beginner / Intermediate
Coding experience preferred, but not required
In this course, we will learn how to use MIT App Inventor to build various apps. Students will design the interface for their apps and use code building blocks to develop their own apps. Selected apps will be submitted to google play store.
Introduction to MIT App Inventor
Create your first app with MIT App Inventor! Get familiar with its interface, components, functions and coding blocks. Learn basic computer programming concepts, such as logic, loops, conditional statements and variables.
App and Game Development
Learn to design different user interfaces and master how to program using blocks. Combine this new knowledge with the foundation of app development, from user interface to backend development. Kids can then create their own advanced and unique apps.
