About Blueinno Technology

A Lively Learning and Making Experience

Blueinno Technology Limited is a STEM education service company founded in 2016.

Our mission is to promote invention and innovation in Hong Kong as well as to Asia Pacific, inspire kids on the spirit of invention, and be positive towards tomorrow's innovation economy.

Our kid technology development program, with state-of-the-art "STEAM and robotics" curriculum, is specially designed for inspiring kids to explore today's technology and science through the skillsets of electronics, coding, robotics, and design thinking methodology. It is more important for the kids to visualise the technology concepts, and empower their mind for imagination and creation.

Founder's Message

Hello! I am Monica.

I am Founder & Director of Blueinno Technology, a STEM Education Service Provider specialising in designing, developing and delivering professional STEM learning programs by proven curriculum and technologies.

I founded Blueinno in 2016 to inspire students to learn STEM through creative design thinking methodology and problem solving skills, and I am glad that Blueinno has taught over 4000 students from local primary schools, to international schools, to tertiary school.

I have been teaching kids coding and innovation technologies since 2013. At that time, I was a software engineer working at high technology development, and I was invited by HKIE to deliver workshops about coding. To my surprise, I found that many students are interested to learn more. Later on, I was invited by a coding school to develop coding curriculum development, and so I become a part time teacher. However, I always found that students are difficult to understand abstract idea of coding. I have a thought - can I add more physical objects, like electronics and robotics toy to teach coding? In 2016, one year after giving birth to my daughter, I founded Blueinno Technology, I wish to put more effort to use electronic hardware to inspire kids on STEAM Education.

Before founding Blueinno, I have been working in various technology companies, from small local startups to large enterprises, such as Motorola, Vtech and ASTRI. I have over 10 years of R&D experience in software development and engineering of product solution design in IT/ICT industry.  Monica is also active in the technology startup fields and has served a number of consultancy works for mobile apps and web development in Hong Kong.

Monica holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Hon) major in Electronic Engineering and minor in Computer Science from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and also a Master of Science in Electronic Engineering from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.  Monica now serves as a Committee Member of Electronics Division of the Hong Kong Institute of Engineers (HKIE). She is an Executive Committee Member of Hong Kong Electronics & Technologies Association (HKETA).  She is also a Committee Member of the Computer Science Advisory Committee (CSAC) of the University of Hong Kong (HKU)

Our Teaching Methods

A Fun and Dynamic Learning Experience

Learn by Doing

Maker education is a combination of hands-on learning and project-based learning. It gives students freedom and responsibility to learn through real experience.

Software Hardware Integration for STEM Curriculum

Many children found the abstract concepts of coding is hard to understand. The STEM curriculum that Monica and her teaching team build is here to bridge the gap.

Positive Education

We believe education should help kids to build confidence, and it should be interesting and inspiring, too! Our goal is to inspire the next generation to be inventors.
